Good day at Dolfinarium

We bought dagtickets online. Reservation was simple enough. The dolfijnenshow was a highlight, kids really liked it. Didn't try Waterpret this time. Parking was easy. Overall, a good experience.

Consistent fun for the family

This was our third visit to Dolfinarium, and as usual, it delivered a great day out. We got the Seizoenspas this year, which is a much better deal for us. The Dolfijnenshow always impresses, even though we've seen it before. My youngest really enjoyed the Roggenrif voederen this time; it was a new experience for him. The horeca options are decent, though we brought our own picknick pakket to save a bit. It's reliable for a family outing, and it's why we keep coming back. Compared to our visit during Meivakantie last year, it felt a little less crowded today, which was nice.

Amazing day, will return!

We had such a fantastic time at Dolfinarium! We bought the familiepas and it was definitely worth it. The kids absolutely loved the Interactie met dolfijnen. Seeing their faces light up was priceless. We also really enjoyed the Zeeleeuwenshow, so entertaining! Everything was clean and well-organized. We're already planning our next trip back, maybe for the Slapen bij de dolfijnen next time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun family outing!

How reliable are those VakantieVeilingen tickets? Saw some cheap ones but don't want to get there and find out they don't work.

A Ashley 2 weeks ago
I've used VakantieVeilingen for Dolfinarium tickets before and never had an issue. You just get a code and redeem it online on their site.

Worked fine for me last summer. Just make sure you follow the instructions for redeeming the code properly, sometimes you need to pick a date first.

Can you bring your own food and drinks? Trying to save a bit of money on a day out.

A Ashley Parker 4 weeks ago
Yep, totally fine to bring your own. We always pack a lunch and some snacks when we go.

For sure. They have picnic areas and plenty of spots to just sit down and eat your own stuff. Saves a ton compared to buying everything inside.

Thinking about a Dolfinarium visit vs. maybe going to Burgers Zoo instead. For a family with younger kids (under 8), which one would be better?

L Linda Wright 3 weeks ago
Dolfinarium is great for younger kids, especially with the shows and the interactive stuff. Burgers Zoo is awesome too, but Dolfinarium feels a bit more focused on direct animal experiences.

Hard one! Burgers Zoo is huge and has a lot more walking. Dolfinarium is more compact and the shows are a big hit with little ones. Depends if your kids prefer shows and water fun or just seeing lots of different animals.

Hey, thinking of going to Dolfinarium next month. Does anyone know if those Albert Heijn or Jumbo discounts are still a thing?

S Sam J. 1 week ago
Yeah, I just used the Jumbo one last week! You usually collect points and then exchange them for a discount code. Super easy.

A friend mentioned the AH one was running for a bit, but I think it ended recently. Always good to check their site or in-store flyers though.

Are the tickets just for the shows, or can you also do the water park stuff with a regular day ticket?

L Leah Hall 1 month ago
The standard day ticket usually includes all the shows and general park access. The water park (Waterpret) is usually included, but sometimes it's seasonal or you might need to check if it's open on your visit date.

From what I remember, Waterpret is part of the normal ticket during the summer. I went last August and didn't pay extra for it.
